An exclusive apartment in a historic building in Santander

Nidos Urbanos offers visitors to the city of Santander “a perfect environment so that your stay becomes a delight and nothing leaves you indifferent”. It is an apartment “exquisitely decorated, with a unique design and designed solely for comfort.”

The studio in charge of creating this space to surprise has been the Aedificare studio and has achieved that this apartment located in one of the oldest areas of the city has a “modern decoration, is very cozy and is perfectly equipped with all the comforts”.

The apartment is located on Calle Alta, where the fishermen’s quarter used to be, before the city reclaimed land from the sea. Specifically, it is located in the oldest inhabited building in the Cantabrian capital.

The Silda apartment is located on a ground floor with independent access from the public road, eliminating all kinds of barriers and obstacles. In this way, there is direct access to the main tourist attractions of the city: the Town Hall is only 350 meters away and the Jardines de Pereda is 850 meters away. As well as the Botín Center or the Paseo Marítimo.

The accommodation has 45 open-plan useful meters and is distributed in two well-differentiated areas: a living-dining room-kitchen and a bedroom-dressing room-bathroom.

Living room, dining room and kitchen

Next to the sofa facing the fireplace and the dining table we find “a kitchen that doesn’t look like a kitchen… completely integrated into the space and multiplying the light in this small apartment.” The upper part is covered with mirrors so that the reflections of the lamps generate more clarity.

Bedroom, dressing room and bathroom

Behind a metal and glass lattice is the bedroom. Luana García, the interior designer responsible for the project, highlights that “we respect the original stone walls and work hard on light and textures in the new finishes.”

This space gives access to the bathroom-dressing room. There we find the Madrid sink by Bathco and the Dots mosaics on the floor. The interior designer comments that “Our passion for @hisbalit is not a secret” and we couldn’t like the result more”.
