There's no greater trip to the past than a family gathering at a rice restaurant surrounded by umbrellas and sand on the Mediterranean coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/3-9-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6071\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At <a href=\"https:\/\/azulmediterraneovalladolid.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mediterranean Blue<\/a>, a rice restaurant in Valladolid, where rice dishes are prepared in front of the customer and it was the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.estudioarayas.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Striped Study<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/elisapindado.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Elisa Pindado<\/a> the one who faced the premise of setting up a place from scratch that evoked that memory we all have of summer beach days, eating a typical paella and having good times with family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Elisa explains: \u201cWhenever we thought about paellas, it made our minds design round spaces, round things.\u201d This is how, starting from an empty space, round areas and open bars that are part of the kitchen began to emerge. From this separation of space, the choice of colors, materials, and decorative elements was fundamental to creating the atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/2-15-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6070\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/6-11-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6069\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To never lose sight of its origin, the earthy and characteristic colors of the Castilian plateau stand out against the blue of the Mediterranean Sea, creating the perfect balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe entire room draws us in like cultivated fields with materials such as wood and raffia, and it ends up blending with the blue of the sea found in the restrooms. These areas are gaining a lot of importance now and are setting a trend in the restaurant world. For us, the bathroom has to be as beautiful as the rest of the establishment,\u201d explains the interior designer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/4-4-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6072\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The floor of the restrooms <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hisbalit.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hisbalit<\/a> Recreate the effect of the sea, white at the shore when the wave breaks, blending into dark blue. All this mixed with the chrome color of designer faucets and sinks like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/en\/producto\/washbasins\/metal\/sotres.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sotres model<\/a> from Bathco.
