Iron is an element very present in our lives, and Bathco has managed to transform it into the raw material for a revolutionary collection of sinks. This series is also manufactured entirely in a foundry in Cantabria, where the company's headquarters are located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We spoke with Eduardo L\u00f3pez, sales director for Bathco, <\/strong>so he can tell us the ins and outs of this proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Bathco, Iron Collection is a very innovative proposal, why have you bet on iron for this line?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were looking for a material that was innovative and, at the same time, environmentally friendly. We immediately thought of iron because it also had a significant symbolic component. It is the fourth most abundant element on Earth's crust, it is very present in our lives, and it possesses intrinsic characteristics such as purity, resistance, and durability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is sustainability one of the strengths of this line?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, in fact, the slogan for this product line is \u2018To give back to the earth what belongs to it\u2019\u2014a true statement of intent. These sinks are 100% recyclable and can be completely melted down and remanufactured. At the same time, they\u2019re also made from recycled materials, using 80% recycled metals in production and 98% recycled sand in the molding process. This combination is not only sustainable but also highly durable. Furthermore, I think it\u2019s important to highlight that the metal raw materials and glazes used are free of heavy metals and comply with European regulations designed to better protect human health and the environment from the risks posed by chemicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
