Society increasingly demands the development of actions aimed exclusively at the collective interest. This is a sign of social maturity, a rational and emotional demand that individuals set for themselves and that motivates their development.<\/p>\n

\"_NCS4232\"Large companies and entities are aware of this demand and dedicate a significant part of their budget and effort to giving back to society a portion of the profit generated by their business activities. From this perspective, Bathco created the Bathco Social and Sports Foundation (FUSODEBA). An entity born with the idea of collective social responsibility, where companies and organizations understand that the sum of efforts is indispensable to achieve real social objectives.<\/p>\n

The Foundation launched a few months ago with the support of companies and organizations from very diverse sectors. All of them have a strong social strategy. Among them are: Inmobiliaria San Fernando, Ford Autovecant Grupo Parte, Zitelia, Jardiner\u00eda Diego, Caixabank, Bankia, La Toba, Lostal, Universidad Europea del Atl\u00e1ntico, El Diario Monta\u00f1\u00e9s, Acicatech, Lacabe Estaci\u00f3n de Servicio Shell, and Cantabria Verde.<\/p>\n

Through its sports division, this Foundation promotes sports projects focused on encouraging sports among young people. Meanwhile, the social division aims to improve the quality of life for the most disadvantaged groups. All of this information is already available on the official website: www.fusodeba.com.
\nThe sports area is managed by the Bathco Sport Team. It is a large sports family that currently includes more than 300 athletes across five disciplines (rugby, padel, athletics, triathlon, and cycling). It encompasses all ages, from 8 years old to senior categories. It is worth noting that in the 2017\/2018 season, 61 regional competitions, 52 national competitions, 6 Spanish Championships, and 2 international events were held.<\/p>\n

\"NCS4055\"In the social sphere, various projects have been launched. Particularly noteworthy are the ceramic decoration workshops aimed at children at the Marqu\u00e9s de Valdecilla University Hospital, and collaboration with different associations in fundraising efforts to support their causes (Buscando Sonrisas, Association Against Cancer, etc.).<\/p>\n

Projects for the next season<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the most important initiatives is Bathco's involvement, through its Foundation, in the sports project of the centennial Gimn\u00e1stica de Torrelavega for the 2018\/19 season with the aim of ensuring the team's continuity in the Second Division B. This represents a new challenge for FUSODEBA as it integrates a new sports discipline within the Bathco Sport Team.<\/p>\n

In June 2018, the company Bathco opened a new headquarters in South Africa from which to more easily distribute its products on the continent. Bathco's landing in this country, known for its passion for rugby and for having one of the best talent pools in the world, brings with it the beginning of another major project: Bathco Rugby Club South Africa.<\/p>\n
