Dar\u00eda is the name of the chef's grandmother, a woman with a lot of charisma and personality who inspired him in the kitchen while he patiently waited for the stew to be ready.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Gastronom\u00eda y arte se unen en Daria<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/dsc_1388-editada-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>Bathco Atelier's intervention in the DARIA restaurant consists of three mural pieces, two ceramic pieces, and two decorated washbasins.<br \/>\nOne of the interventions is located at the entrance to the restrooms and was carried out by Cecilio Espejo using white, black, and a teal or viridian tone that matches the tiles in the restroom itself.<br \/>\nIn the image of the doors, two icons of art history were used, as described by the artist: \u201cThey are Michelangelo's David and Botticelli's Venus, to differentiate the women's and men's restrooms. These two figures have been surrounded by chosen elements to create a dreamlike and open-to-interpretation scene, much like the author's own cuisine.\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Interpretaci\u00f3n del Atelier<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/5a0141b07b926c4861af0341cae9e674.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/8ad05279b06f7271ba0999b415c062f0.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/sardina_pilchardus_gervais.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>Las otras dos intervenciones se encuentran en el comedor superior, un espacio reservado a los elementos gastron\u00f3micos como las verduras y el pescado. Sardinas en la pared principal y alcachofas, tomates y cebollas en otro de los rincones, acompa\u00f1ando a los comensales. Estos fueron elegidos comosugerencia del propio chef, Nacho del Corral, continuando con el dise\u00f1o gr\u00e1fico aplicado en las cartas del restaurante.<br \/>\nJunto al mural de las sardinas se colocaron las piezas cer\u00e1micas. Se trata de dos platos intervenidos con calca cer\u00e1mica que contin\u00faan con la est\u00e9tica de la entrada a los ba\u00f1os,uniendo as\u00ed la planta baja y el primer piso. El propio artista explica c\u00f3mo ha sido el proceso de recreaci\u00f3n de las obras, \u201clas piezas han sido bocetadas primero a l\u00e1piz y despu\u00e9s se ha aplicado esmalte negro y azul verdoso sobre distintas superficies, para finalizar se hizo un marcado a pincel\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Murales y piezas cer\u00e1micas<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/dsc_1398-editada.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/dsc_1402-editada.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/dsc_1406-editada-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/dsc_1411-editada2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/dsc_1413-editada-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>In the women's restroom, you can find a raw pink microcement New Toulouse sink. In the men's restroom, a raw gray microcement Lys sink was installed, both made in Bathco's workshop. The artists at Bathco Atelier applied the restaurant's logo using ceramic decals and decorated the pieces with phrases referencing the pleasure of gastronomy. Both the New Toulouse and the Lys were placed on custom-made, distressed solid wood countertops crafted by Cantabrian carpenters.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Lavabos personalizados<\/h2>\n<p>The artists at Bathco Atelier customized the restaurant's sinks. Mar\u00eda Centeno explains that \u201cgiven the small size of the spaces designated for the restrooms, our task was to focus attention on the ceramic pieces. We opted for microcement-effect compositions that had a distinctive touch.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dark gray and pink tones ranging from white to orange were the colors chosen to convey sensations in each room.<\/p>\n<p>Hand-finished sinks simulate the characteristic microcement stains that add depth and a very special tonal richness to the pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Ceramic decals also played an important role. Through texts related to the pleasure of gastronomy and the application of the restaurant's logo, the designs were given the necessary touch of uniqueness.
