Mara Group's Hotel Sol Boutique opens its doors in a former mansion built by Emilio de la Torriente in 1898 on Calle del Sol in Santander. After a rehabilitation in which additions that distorted the original facades and a distribution of the interiors were eliminated, rooms with bathrooms in which pieces created by the artists of Bathco Atelier have been installed.<\/p>\r\n

If we go into the bathrooms of the rooms of the Hotel Sol Boutique we will see unique, well cared for, original spaces... and this is thanks to the interior design project by Cintia Diaz<\/strong>. Cada una de las piezas fue escogida por la dise\u00f1adora de forma<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n meditada para crear ambientes con sentido y en este proceso fue fundamental el asesoramiento Andr\u00e9s Navedo, responsable de exposiciones en Lostal<\/a><\/strong>, uno de los distribuidores oficiales de Bathco en Cantabria. En los ba\u00f1os de las habitaciones<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n se pueden ver diferentes lavabos del cat\u00e1logo de la empresa especializada en el sector del ba\u00f1o as\u00ed como piezas hechas ad hoc por los artistas de Bathco Atelier.<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n La habitaci\u00f3n 306 Anastasia guarda uno de los murales realizados por los artistas de Bathco Atelier basado en la ilustraci\u00f3n \u201cAnastasia\u201d de Sofia Bonati y se escogieron los tonos principales para crear el lavabo de porcelana recubierto en microcemento<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n teja creado tambi\u00e9n en el taller de la compa\u00f1\u00eda. Cintia D\u00edaz comenta que \u00abAs for the Anastasia mural, I had already seen this image which is by an Argentinian illustrator who I really like all her illustrations. I got in touch with her <\/em><\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n to do this work, we paid the rights to be able to reproduce it and from there the Atelier was doing tests. This was pretty straightforward.\u00bb<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n For one of the Premium rooms they chose wallpaper and wanted to give it continuity in the bathroom but they wanted the material to be water resistant. So they turned to the artists at Bathco Atelier, who reproduced the design on ceramic decals and applied them manually to tiles. These cover in the form of mural<\/strong> the main wall of this en-suite bathroom.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n The designer explains that \u00abThat whole room, just like the bathroom, came from the paper. I fell in love with that paper and from that paper everything else in the room was created. It was around that paper. So I don't remember very well, if the idea was given to me by Andr\u00e9s Navedo de Lostal. I worked closely with him and we worked very well. He said to me, \"Why don't you repeat?. <\/em><\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n He told me about the Atelier and said: you can create this same tile. And he said: well, it would be really nice, it would be a completely different bathroom and it turned out very well. The truth is that I am very happy with that bathroom. I like that bathroom very much and everybody likes it very much, it makes quite an impact on them\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n The model Dinan<\/a><\/strong> aparece decorado con calcas cer\u00e1micas gracias a las manos expertas de las artesanas de la compa\u00f1\u00eda c\u00e1ntabra. En este caso, la dise\u00f1adora quer\u00eda<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n que se representase el medall\u00f3n de Hermes (Mercurio). Para ello, se hizo un dise\u00f1o en formato digital, se imprimi\u00f3 en calcas cer\u00e1micas y se decor\u00f3<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n haciendo coincidir el dibujo del lavabo con el de la v\u00e1lvula. De esta manera el visitante apreciar\u00e1 el dibujo completo durante el aseo.<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n For the bathroom in room 211 Peony bouquet, the designer wanted the sink to have a similar look to the mosaic tiles of Hisbalit<\/a><\/strong> que se<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n colocaron en una de las paredes. Para lograrlo, los artistas hicieron diferentes pruebas hasta dar con el color exacto y obtuvieron un Lysa washbasin<\/strong><\/a> en tonos<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n ros\u00e1ceos. Aqu\u00ed tambi\u00e9n se puede ver el juego de soportes con encimera blanca. tambi\u00e9n se puede ver este lavabo en la habitaci\u00f3n 101 Boh\u00e9me.<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n Adem\u00e1s de las piezas creadas por los artistas, en las habitaciones del Hotel Sol Boutique se pueden ver lavabos del cat\u00e1logo de Bathco.
