He started working from home four years ago and began storing product samples at home. Additionally, with the arrival of their son Mateo, the house became a parking spot for strollers, scooters, and the like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They had the help of the Interior Designer  <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/noeprades_studio\/\" target=\"_blank\">Noah Prades<\/a><\/strong> to face a much-needed comprehensive renovation where they were very clear that the change of bathrooms would mark a before and after in their home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The day area has an eclectic essence; in the living room, we find a macrame tapestry by Fruto Samore above the Chester sofa and the XL natural Tribu rug by Lorena Canals Rugs. The storage furniture is from Asti Deco, the tables and shelves handmade by a local carpenter, the tableware from Muy Mucho, and the plants from Colvin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1236-ALTA-686x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"4237\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1236-ALTA.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=4237\" class=\"wp-image-4237\"\/><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1263-ALTA-691x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"4238\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1263-ALTA.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=4238\" class=\"wp-image-4238\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Minimalism &amp; Luminosity<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another of the big changes was the kitchen; now fully open to the living room, with furniture lacquered in Roma 157 color. The countertop is Calacatta Boheme Vintage, with a \u201cbullnose\u201d edge, which gives a more vintage feel, and the Smeg Victoria line appliances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1210-ALTA-680x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"4236\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1210-ALTA.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=4236\" class=\"wp-image-4236\"\/><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1206-ALTA-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"4235\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/1206-ALTA-scaled.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=4235\" class=\"wp-image-4235\"\/><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1171-ALTA-682x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"4234\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1171-ALTA.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=4234\" class=\"wp-image-4234\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Restroom<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking of the guest bathroom, Ale Samaniego tells us that \u201c<em>It used to be a dark, characterless bathroom; the shower didn\u2019t even have a screen, so we never actually used it, and there was no vanity unit to speak of. Plus, this bathroom is right at the entrance to the house, next to the kitchen and the living room. That\u2019s why it ended up becoming a storage room that was a total mess. We also hung our clean laundry here because, before the renovation, we had the washing machine in the kitchen instead of in the bedroom area.<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along with the interior designer  <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/noeprades_studio\/\" target=\"_blank\">Noah Prades<\/a><\/strong> , they designed a custom bathroom with their real needs in mind. They were aware that doing without a shower detracted from the house's value, but gaining a storage closet added practicality to their lives, so they opted for the latter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<em>The idea is that our guests will be able to use this room to freshen up and leave their coats and shoes in the closet<\/em>\u201d&quot;, that&#x27;s how they&#x27;ll keep their home #covidfree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1032-ALTA-682x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"4229\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1032-ALTA.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=4229\" class=\"wp-image-4229\"\/><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1046-ALTA-682x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"4230\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1046-ALTA.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=4230\" class=\"wp-image-4230\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The closet was designed by Julio to maximize every inch of space. It features a two-shelf shoe rack, a coat hanging area, and space for the baby stroller, motorcycle helmets, tools, Julio's work supplies, and more. This results in a very practical piece of furniture whose doors are decorated with chinoiserie wallpaper, as No\u00e9 Prades advised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every single element in the bathroom was chosen to create a balanced atmosphere, and Ale explains it like this: \u201c<em>The vanity was a custom design by No\u00e9 Prades, and the sink was placed on top of it.  <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/en\/producto\/washbasins\/solid-surface\/circular\/umbria.html\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bathco Solid Surface Shade<\/a><\/strong>. The mirror was salvaged from Julio's mother's country house; you know we love pieces with history. The tiling and flooring are from Yanyare. We've also incorporated a folding wooden step stool from Astikitline so Mateo can wash his hands independently.<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to these details, what was once a genuine storage room has been transformed into a space worthy of a boutique hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"You can see the before and after here. (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CD3l59plRp2\/\" target=\"_blank\">You can see the before-and-after photos here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the sleeping area, we find the master bedroom with a headboard made from an antique door, a Domotex mattress, and a bed from Maisons du Monde. The bedding is from Calma House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1157-ALTA-682x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4233\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Master bathroom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main bathroom also underwent a radical change. The importance of details has made it possible to create a space that brings peace and well-being. No\u00e9 Prades designed custom furniture combining oak wood and <em>Canning <\/em>To stylishly solve storage space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Design and luminosity <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> The vintage-style polished brass gold-tone faucets contrast with the Carrara marble countertop with rounded edges. Two were installed there  <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Bathco Belted Solid Surface sinks.
