BATHCO ATELIER \u2013 ART CENTER<\/strong> This is a pioneering initiative, as for the first time, a company's R&D strategy is being linked to the world of regional culture and art. It is a collaborative project with various regional artists (Mar\u00eda Centeno, Ana Exp\u00f3sito, Marga Polanco, Sandra Su\u00e1rez, Claudia Iza, Jose Luis Ochoa, Tom\u00e1s Hoya, Adri\u00e1n Santiago, and Emeric Minaya) that aims to develop a collection of sinks that will be uniquely designed and directly influenced by the artists, designers, or illustrators themselves.<\/p>\n

During the presentation, JJos\u00e9 L\u00f3pez Cort\u00e9s<\/strong>, Bathco manager took the opportunity to point out that \u201cthis initiative, which is currently in the experimental and research phase, aims to be a large-scale project whose main objective will be to enter the American market and Arab countries. For his part, Emeric Minaya, the artistic director of the project, emphasized \u201cthe value and the need for companies like Bathco to take risks in presenting initiatives of this kind, related to regional art and culture.\u201d Finally, I\u00f1igo de la Serna defined the company Bathco<\/strong> \u201cas a benchmark to follow, since initiatives like these also provide support for job creation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Attendees of the event were able to visit the ceramic decoration workshop where the artists have been working for the past month. They were also able to appreciate the artists' first developed works, as they were exhibited in a small art gallery adjacent to the workshop.
