A good example of this is its collections and new products in porcelain and other materials.<\/p>\n

The Return of Gold & Silver<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gold and silver are back stronger than ever, becoming an aesthetic trend in the world of decoration and interior design, especially rose gold. Metallic colors are already ubiquitous in the work of the most prominent interior design studios in the sector.<\/p>\n

Bathco joins this proposal by launching a collection of sinks where the seductive power of the shades leaves no one indifferent. The elegance of gold and the sobriety of silver confront the classic and the modern, creating eclectic ambiances. And, why not? Bohemian or minimalist; anything is possible through inspiration and creativity.<\/p>\n

Additionally, this collection offers the possibility of combining these metallic colors with prints that transform the bathroom into a warmer space with a lot of personality.<\/p>\n

INNOVATION CAPACITY \u2013 SWAROVSKI<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bathco, in its drive to innovate, presented a new line of sinks with Swarovski crystal inlays at the Cersaie 2016 design fair. This collection features different patterns and textures to which the famous crystals are applied, thus achieving a new leap in the marketing of high-end sinks.<\/p>\n

As Suzy Menkes, editor of Vogue International, assures, \u201cSwarovski's sparkle is not just a recent phenomenon. It has long been an integral part of the technique and craft of 19th and 20th-century decoration.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Swarovski crystal has become a prized and creative ingredient used by designers and coveted by brands worldwide to enhance all kinds of products.<\/p>\n

The Power of Collaboration \u2013 David Delf\u00edn and Mariscal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bathco constantly seeks new sources of inspiration and explores other fields that may seem unrelated to the world of bathrooms but share the company's passion for design. This drive has led to Bathco's collaboration with the prestigious designers David Delf\u00edn and Mariscal.<\/p>\n

The sinks in both collections perfectly represent the personality of both designers. The common thread in the collection designed by Mariscal is his characteristic stroke; his illustrative style floods the sinks in this collection with floral, aquatic, and abstract motifs. And they all hide personal experiences, as the designer himself explains: \u201cmy specialty is being creative... listening, being a sponge, observing, capturing in images what society breathes, what we believe, what moves us, and the ideas that are changing. To do this, I have used any system, language, or discipline that I have had at my disposal.\u201c<\/p>\n

The pieces designed by David Delf\u00edn are pure creativity. As happens in each of his fashion shows, his work is influenced by different currents and aesthetics. The sinks in this collection can turn the bathroom into a Pop, Kitsch, pop, retro, or minimalist environment...<\/p>\n

The Beauty of the Past \u2013 Vintage<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018Vintage\u2019 is not just a look at the past, but an attitude. An attitude that revives timeless designs and breathes new life into them. It's about visiting yesterday to travel towards tomorrow. Bathco invested in this some time ago, first diving into hundreds of iconographies, selecting them, and then stamping them onto their pieces. The process has always been artisanal, a meticulously crafted labor in their own workshops, design by design, piece by piece, relying only on the hands and the know-how of those who have spent a lifetime perfecting their technique.
Given the success of this collection, the company plans to soon launch an expansion of prints in a new catalog, even more inspiring. VINTAGE & MORE will be the name of this new collection, which is currently in development.<\/p>\n

New materials<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although porcelain remains the benchmark material when it comes to decorating and outfitting the bathroom, other materials can add a plus of functionality and elegance.
Bathco is aware of this, and that's why it continuously works on producing new materials. For example, stone, cement, terrazzo, and Solid Surface are already part of the company's DNA and are materials that are having great success in the world of interior design and architecture. These are divided into three different series belonging to the Natural Series collection. Polished natural stone pieces from the island of Java appear in the Stone Series, cement and terrazzo create very special pieces for the bathroom, and Solid Surface allows for the creation of pieces with unique shapes.<\/p>\n

Bathco is currently working on the production of a product line made with a new material called CEMLAB. It is a new formulation that, starting from traditional cement, results in a lighter, more waterproof product with a wide range of possible tones and finishes in the final product. In other words, it significantly improves the properties of cement sinks currently on the market. This product is the result of months of work and collaboration with the Cantabria Technology and Component Centre.<\/p>\n

Art and porcelain, a new concept<\/strong><\/p>\n

This focus of their products on the world of interior design and decoration led Bathco to become involved in a larger-scale project. In early 2015, the company announced the launch of Bathco Atelier, a unique initiative that, for the first time, linked the world of art with the ceramics and bathroom decoration sector.<\/p>\n

The creation of this Atelier allowed the company to implement an area for artistic creation and experimentation, which has enabled eight artists to generate ideas, work on new designs, create, and experiment with the possibilities offered by paints and their fusion with other materials such as iron particles, sandstones, crystals, etc.<\/p>\n

Every piece that leaves the workshop is produced in Cantabria and is crafted by an artist. Thanks to the talent, experience, and creativity of this group of professionals, the entire artistic process is done in-house. From the birth of the first ideas, the sketching process, the application of paints, testing with new materials, to the baking and drying process; everything is done at the company's facilities and is imbued with the essence and genius of each of the artists.<\/p>\n

The artisanal process has always been valued for the unique character it gives to each piece, but if it also passes through the hands of an artist, it becomes an exhibition piece, managing to bring art into the bathroom, which is what our Atelier aims for.<\/p>\n

The most innovative part of this project is the Atelier Project line. The workshop offers the possibility of carrying out ad hoc projects, where artistic intervention goes beyond the sink piece to completely flood spaces through the development of ceramic murals. The architect, interior designer, or designer has the opportunity to work directly with the atelier artists to produce pieces totally adapted to the conceptual needs of each project.<\/p>\n

Precisely in Santander, you can see one of the first projects developed by Bathco Atelier. The artists from the workshop were in charge of customizing the sinks in the Art Suite Santander apartments. The meticulous interior design of these apartments is capable of transporting each guest to a different continent in each of the rooms.<\/p>\n

Another example of the work being developed in this workshop will be on display at Interihotel, the trade fair specialized in hotel interior design that will be held from November 23rd to 25th in Barcelona. Bathco will be attending as an exhibitor at this event, which brings together the most representative figures in the world of architecture and hotel interior design in the country.<\/p>\n

Bathco's commitment to being a benchmark in cutting-edge design and innovation is reflected in all dimensions of the company. It has recently been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award for the work developed on its new corporate website. Specifically, the company's website, developed by the branding consultancy Zorraquino, has been awarded in the online communication category.<\/p>\n
