{"id":15075,"date":"2021-12-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-01T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/journal\/begonias-garden\/"},"modified":"2025-10-30T12:39:34","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T12:39:34","slug":"begonia-garden","status":"publish","type":"journal","link":"https:\/\/www.thebathcollection.com\/en\/journal\/begonia-garden\/","title":{"rendered":"Begonias Garden"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>This project has been possible thanks to Casa Decor, which has hosted Fundaci\u00f3n Aprocor in the past editions of 2020 and 2021 as the Official Solidarity Organization, to raise awareness of the Foundation's work, and thus promote the socio-labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities and community development.<\/div>\n<p>From the outset, Casa Decor encouraged participating companies from both editions to collaborate selflessly, by donating materials and products, or by contributing valuable ideas for the creation of this space, to which the company specializing in the bathroom sector, Bathco, has joined. Cristina Avenda\u00f1o, the project coordinator, has selflessly acted as a liaison between Aprocor and Casa Decor.<\/p>\n<p>El Begonia's Garden is part of Aprocor Foundation's strategy to transform support centers for people with disabilities into spaces open to the public, fostering inclusion and opportunities. Through cooperation within the social environment, valued social roles are promoted for people with intellectual disabilities, contributing to environmental awareness, conservation, and protection.<\/p>\n<p>Inclusion happens and is real when people participate, work, and enjoy life alongside others with similar interests and with complementary knowledge and skills. That's why Begonia's Garden is \u201cOpen to the public.\u201d The goal is for it to be a place where anyone can feel welcomed and invited, because in an inclusive societal model, we all have something to contribute.<\/p>\n<p>Interior space<\/p>\n<p>This space will be where courses, workshops, photo shoots, and presentations for both companies and the general public will take place.
