An office that fuses history and design

Projects, Contract

The study A54INSITU has transformed «La Trobadora» is much more than just offices: it is a place where the original architecture coexists with a modern and functional design. This 110 m² premises, located in an architecturally interesting building from the 1940s, has been refurbished with an approach that respects the past.

From the beginning, the aim has been to highlight the original elements, such as the 40 cm solid brick walls and the arches that connect the different areas. These details, far from being hidden, have become protagonists, differentiating the work, meeting and service spaces without losing the essence of the building.

Flowing spaces

«La Trobadora» has four fixed work stations and two meeting rooms designed to receive clients and encourage creativity. The four original entrances to the premises have been respected, ensuring fluidity and connection with the street and the interior of the building.

In addition, floor leveling has been key to improving accessibility. Two of the entrances were 9 cm higher than the interior, which has been resolved with a gentle ramp at the main entrance to ensure comfortable, barrier-free access.

Every detail counts in a project like this, and the choice of the washbasin Bathco Black Dinan is no accident. Its sleek design and black finish add a touch of sophistication that fits perfectly with the eclectic, urban aesthetic of the space.

«La Trobadora» is not only a place to work, it has preserved the essence of the building while adapting it to current needs, creating a cozy atmosphere with personality.
