Bathco faithful to its constant commitment to the design and the innovation In product development, an initiative is being launched targeting artists, designers, and illustrators. It is a creative contest where the different participants can submit their proposals and ideas for decorating a sink.

The contest
Under the name of BATHCO ATELIER – ART AND DESIGN CONTEST This competition is born with the intention of being a platform for artists, designers, and illustrators to present proposals that could become part of a collection in the future.
Registration for the competition and submission of proposals must be done through the website. www.bathcoatelier.com.The deadline for submitting entries begins today, November 20th, and ends on December 20th at 00:00.
In the words of the company manager, Jose Lopez Cortes, “This initiative represents a significant qualitative leap for Bathco, by linking product development to the cultural and creative sphere; and for the artists themselves, as this competition can become a platform for international projection.”
There will be three cash prizes for the contest winners: €1,000, €500, and €300 for first, second, and third place, respectively. Another highlight of the contest is that all participants will be eligible to take part in a workshop, the Bathco Atelier.
The workshop
Bathco Atelier is a workspace and artistic creation driven by Bathco with the idea of developing a collection of sinks characterized by their original design and careful production process. These new sinks will have the peculiarity of being designed and even directly intervened by artists, designers, or illustrators.
The concept around which this workshop revolves is a return to the artisanal process, emphasizing the unique and unrepeatable character of each piece. Bathco looking back, reclaiming the facilities of his old ceramic decoration workshop, turning it into his Atelier.
