Barack Obama receives the first sink from Bathco's Titanic collection
Bathco wanted to pay its own tribute to that historic event. To do so, last April, in collaboration with the Titanic Foundation, they presented the first sink from this collection to Barack Obama, as he is one of the members of the Titanic Foundation's board of honor. This board of honor is made up of the countries that made up the Titanic's route: the United Kingdom, France, and the USA.

This is a unique piece that has been personalized with the signature of the US President and sent in very original packaging. This act has also served as a promotional tool for Bathco to introduce this collection to the American market.
Last February, Bathco took advantage of its presence at CEVISAMA 2016 to present one of its latest projects internationally, Titanic Collection By Bathco, a collection that reproduces the washbasins and different accessories from the first and second-class bathrooms of the Titanic.
This collection, which is now on sale, is comprised of mahogany furniture, first and second class washbasins, faucets, bathrobes, and towel sets designed and developed entirely by Bathco. This set of pieces offers us a complete picture of what the construction of the famous ship entailed.
Project origin
The idea for this collection emerged in 2015 when the TITANIC Foundation commissioned Bathco to reproduce the bathrooms of the famous ship. Bathco, in turn, worked for months to achieve designs faithful to the original pieces while adapting them to current design, functionality, and proportions.
Nowadays, we can see these pieces designed and manufactured by Bathco at the traveling exhibition that the Titanic Foundation has taken all over Spain, TITANIC the reconstruction. In it, you can see, among other rooms of the ship, the reproduction of the first and second class bathrooms with the pieces developed by Bathco.
In its first year, this exhibition has received over 250,000 visitors across the cities of Granada, Tarragona, and Vigo, where it will remain until July 21. Afterward, it will depart for cities such as Bilbao and Barcelona, before later beginning its European tour.
