Atelier Collection: Totem
These pieces, hand-painted by artist Adri Santiago, come from the Bathco workshop.
Journal
Atelier Collection is Bathco's most exclusive collection. The Sicilia washbasin becomes a canvas, interpreted by eight artists who express their most personal style through different techniques. Starting from a single concept, this group of artists presents eight completely different viewpoints that bring the Atelier Collection to life.
One of these artists is Adri Santiago. Through the works Totem I and Totem II, she aims to reflect the human feeling in the face of the inevitable. Totem I is distinguished by its black and gray tones, where human figures surrender to their destiny and slip, falling along the curve of the piece. In Totem II, the opposite happens; the characters resist and cling to the edge of the sink, thus denying their destiny.
Freehand, this artist paints the figures that appear in his pieces. Then he colors them in black, gray, green, or blue using the sponging technique and removes the excess paint to achieve refined lines. Once Adri finishes painting the sink, it undergoes a baking and drying process and is then carefully packaged.
Homemade
Thanks to the talent, experience, and creativity of the Cantabrian company's group of professionals, the entire artistic process is carried out in-house; in their own facilities, and more specifically, in their workshop, which is imbued with the essence and genius of each of the artists.
Unique Pieces
To present the sinks from the ATELIER collection, Bathco has developed very special packaging. An original case personalized with the motif of each sink and the artist's signature.
As with any piece of art, inside you will find accreditation regarding the originality of the work, its careful artisanal process, and the corresponding number for the limited edition.
