From November 21 to 24, 2016, visitor turnout was particularly strong at the Cantabrian company’s booth. Of particular note was the interest shown by visitors from countries such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, and Jordan. Overall, Asia accounted for 82.3% of the contacts made. Two Asian countries show great potential: Iran and India, which accounted for 22.12% and 21.2% of visits, respectively, and with which discussions have begun to develop future projects.

Next, Africa accounted for 9.7% of visits, with Egyptian and Nigerian visitors being particularly notable. To a lesser extent, but with very interesting proposals, visits were received from companies in Europe—notably Turkey—South America, including companies from Paraguay and Brazil, and North America, led by Canada.

Asia
Regardless of the fact that competition in Middle Eastern countries is very strong, Bathco's competitive advantage lies in innovation and design, in addition to the customization possibilities offered by the Cantabrian company through the work carried out at Bathco Atelier.

A significant deal that emerged during the Big 5 Dubai exhibition was the negotiation with the largest sanitaryware manufacturer in Saudi Arabia, SAUDI CERAMIC Company, for the sale of products from the Gold & Silver collection, pieces with gold and silver finishes in their 36 stores.

For its part, the TATA group – an Indian car manufacturer – has shown interest in Bathco's products for its home division, as have the Iranian group Saniplastic and construction companies working for the governments of the different emirates. The visit of Sara Group, a distributor of international brands with 23 showrooms in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Lebanon, was also very significant.
The Dubai fair has been the venue where agreements have been reached with companies such as the Arte Casa chain or Graniti, which will begin working with the new collections in their showroom in the coming weeks.

EUROPA
Currently, European countries have shown the most interest in the works created at Bathco Atelier and their application to their own projects. That's why árabe companies are considering using this type of product. One example is a company from Dubai, owner of the Oporto hotel that will be built in the Portuguese city in the Bodegas area, and they want to personalize it through designs from the Bathco ATELIER.

During the trade fair celebration, important contacts have been made with investor groups that are building nationally and internationally. They will recommend Bathco products for future projects. Inquiries have been received to equip the bathrooms of hotels to be built in Athens and Barcelona.

Africa
Successful companies are obligated to constantly seek new opportunities, which is why Bathco is committed to its presence in emerging countries, looking for new products and services. During the Big 5 fair, an order for a container of various products destined for Tanzania was closed, thus adding to the list of 75 countries to which the Santander-based company exports.

For its part, Morocco maintains its interest in bathroom products. Jumeirah Group, the owner of the Burj Al Arab Hotel and specializing in the construction of luxury hotels, intends to equip the bathrooms of its upcoming projects for the W, Fairmont, etc. chains.

North America
In addition to expanding into new markets, this type of trade fair allows for strengthening relationships with clients. An example of this is Maestrobath, an Iranian client who is interested in introducing Bathco products to the United States, specifically in California, targeting the interior design sector.
