Yesterday, Tuesday, March 28th, the artists from the Bathco Atelier had the opportunity to bring the world of art closer to the little ones. They were in charge of accompanying the 73 students from the early childhood education program at Salesianos School of Santander on their visit to the facilities and showed them how to work with ceramics.
During the day, the students not only got to see the work done at the Atelier, but the company also organized a workshop where the children from Early Childhood Education could paint directly on the ceramics.
This visit is part of the program of activities that the school has organized around the figure of Andy Warhol and the Pop Art art movement. Thus, the day at Bathco allowed them to deepen their understanding of this artist and his work through a practical activity: each student painted a tile that had an icon from this unique artist's work printed on it. At the end of the activity, the students were able to take home the tile they had painted themselves.
Bathco Atelier is an initiative that links the world of art with the ceramics and bathroom decoration sector. Artists generate ideas, work on new designs, create, and experiment with the possibilities offered by paints and their fusion with other materials: iron particles, sandstones, crystals, etc.
At the Bathco Atelier, ad hoc projects are developed where artistic intervention goes beyond the sink itself to completely envelop spaces through the creation of ceramic murals. Architects, interior designers, or designers have the opportunity to work directly with the Atelier's artists to produce murals or pieces fully adapted to the conceptual needs of each project.
