The Cabárceno facilities offer this completely renovated image as a consequence of the agreement signed in July 2018, in which Bathco and Cantur agreed to renovate the public restrooms of the Los Osos restaurant, a measure that is part of Cantur's Investment Plan to rehabilitate its facilities during the 2018-2020 period.

During the visit, Javier Carrion has insisted on the idea that this type of initiative “gThey ensure the park is in good condition and present an attractive image and quality of service that contributes to maintaining the level of excellence the park offers its visitors.

For its part, Jose Lopez Cortes has assured that“This project is one of the most special that the Bathco Atelier team has developed. The Cabárceno Nature Park is a global benchmark, and the fauna it houses has been one of the best inspirations.”.

With this project, the work of the Cantabrian company's Atelier promotes the fascinating experience of visiting the Cabárceno facilities by transferring its most representative animals to the bathrooms through ceramic illustrations.

The intervention carried out by the artists aimed to maintain an adequate state of conservation and, above all, an attractive image and quality of service.. María Centeno, one of the artists from the Cantabrian company, stated that “The work begins with footprints painted on some of the floor tiles, leading us to all the freestanding sinks and tiled walls. Wherever we look, we will find lions, bison, antelopes, giraffes, or gorillas depicted among many other animals that observe us, making us feel in a unique and, above all, living space.”.

The artists at the Atelier took the different species inhabiting Cabárceno as their reference point to begin their work, employing the latest technologies applied to ceramics as well as traditional painting with vitrifiable pigments. Hand-illuminated pencil sketches, computer design programs, Japanese brushes, oil mixtures, powder colors, and the magic of high-temperature kilns have all been useful in representing the animals in various poses and with a loose, watercolor-like treatment of drawing and washes that populate the space.
