Innovation, avant-garde, design, and sustainability are attributes that define Bathco's daily operations. The Cantabrian company, specializing in the bathroom sector, continuously updates its offerings, seeking to combine these characteristics. Its latest proposals are featured in the Materia catalog, presented in mid-year, where an extensive collection of sinks made from stone, resin, metal, cast iron, and more can be found. This unique family of products shares a common bond: its ability to adapt to all spaces and designs.
Another of these collections is Wood, composed of the series Bangalore and Calcutta. It is a commitment to sustainability, recycling, and the use of natural materials.
These sinks are made of acacia, a tropical wood that is highly resistant to water. Furthermore, they are crafted under the philosophy of zero waste, since they are made from scraps and leftovers of this wood, making the most of the material.
Furthermore, expert carpenters are involved in the composition of each sink, selecting the most suitable slats and joining them into a block that withstands water without fissures. This is an artisanal process that results in sinks with a similar, but never identical, grain and texture, making each sink a unique piece.
To achieve its exceptional water resistance, a matte or semi-matte lacquer is used, which creates a thin film that covers the wood's pores and protects it from harmful external agents.
One of Bathco's hallmarks is its ability to intervene and decorate sinks with unique and different designs. In the case of the Wood collection, its two models are also presented with three patterns: Axonometric, Hexagon, and Black Hexagon.
Catalogue
The Materia catalog is completed by the Solid Surface collections, which include a new series called Solid Surface + Wood and is one of the company's latest creations, Composite, Iron, Cement, Gold & Silver, Stone, Terrazzo, Swarovski and, of course, Atelier, where the pieces modified by the company's artists are showcased. These artists use the sinks as blank canvases to express their creativity through unique materials, textures, and colors.
