The Bathco space at Casa Decor 2021 will open its doors this week.

On May 12, "Inspire & Evoke" will open, a space designed by interior designer Beatriz Silveira for the Bathco space at one of the most important events in interior design, design, trends, and lifestyle.

This is a bathroom located on the fifth floor of the Casa de Tomás de Allende in Madrid, which focuses on the materials and textures of nature that have inspired art throughout the centuries.

This is where Sand Waves will be presented for the first time, a new line of sinks made from Solid Surface with sinuous shapes, and the presence of Bathco Atelier's work through artist-molded ceramic pieces will also be highlighted.

Beatriz Silveira has shared some of the details we can expect to find in the space. “Without revealing too much, I can tell you that this year the bathroom I'm presenting is a very complete bathroom in terms of the sensations the visitor will experience [...]. There's a lot of material, a lot of richness in terms of different textures, and I believe in any case that it's a special bathroom that we've created with a lot of enthusiasm and in which the Bathco Atelier truly takes center stage. In a surprising way, they've managed to give shape to each of the ideas I've shown them, and I believe it's one of the things that will genuinely surprise and be well-received.”.

For their part, the commercial director of the Cantabrian company, Eduardo López, assures that “for us, being at Casa Decor is an incentive because it forces us to continue innovating with the intention of surprising visitors. We know that for six weeks this event hosts a large number of professionals from the world of interior design and design, and it is an opportunity to give visibility to our new products. Therefore, we have chosen this major event as the setting to present what will be Sand Waves, the next line of Solid Surface sinks with sinuous shapes.”.

Alongside them, you will be able to see the work done by the Bathco Atelier artists for this event. Emeric Minaya, artistic director of Bathco, explains that “just as the workshop's pictorial facet was very present last year, this year the spotlight is on sculptural work. Beatriz Silveira presented us with several designs for her project, and we have reproduced them, I believe, with great success. These are sculptural pieces made of ceramic that complete a spectacular bathroom.”.
