This combination allows guests to immerse themselves in the history of a 17th-century palace, originally commissioned by the Count of Santa Ana de las Torres, while at the same time enjoying the finest amenities: handcrafted wool mattresses, Egyptian cotton sheets, a freestanding bathtub, a pillow menu, 100% organic toiletries, and room service, among other things.
Palacio Helguera was created with the purpose of allowing its clients to disconnect upon arrival and immerse themselves in a complete experience: its wellness space is open year-round, with versatile architecture that allows for the use of its pool in both summer and winter; its gastronomic offering invites clients to enjoy typical regional dishes made with local, seasonal products; the hotel's gardens connect directly to trails that lead into the distinctive nature of the Pas Valley, known for its Romanesque monasteries, hermitages, and historical caves.
In essence, this proposal encompasses all dimensions of rest, united in the concept of intimacy and exclusivity, it summarizes Concha Sánchez-Ocaña, responsible for the business and digital development of the project.
The project's ambition is to capture the natural and traditional charm of Cantabria, a community known for rural tourism, history, and gastronomy, and extend it to a space of luxury and high design, on par with Europe's finest boutique hotels, making Cantabria a benchmark for getaways.
