Bathco Internationalization Award

Bathco, a company dedicated to the design, manufacturing, and marketing of toilets, sinks, and bathroom accessories for over 40 years, today received the 2022 Cantabria Accessit Award for Internationalization. This award is granted by Banco Santander, the Chambers of Commerce of Torrelavega and Cantabria, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Spain and El Diario Montañés.

Bathco's Deputy General Manager, Eduardo López Cortés, was responsible for collecting the award, at an event held at the Chamber's headquarters. The ceremony was attended by the President of the Cantabrian Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Modesto Piñeiro; the President of the Torrelavega Chamber, Mr. Carlos Augusto; the Territorial Director for Cantabria-Asturias of Banco Santander, Mr. Manuel Iturbe; the President of El Diario Montañés, Mr. Luis Revenga; and the Minister of Industry, Tourism, Innovation, Transport, and Commerce of the Government of Cantabria, Mr. Francisco Javier López Marcano.

The Accessit for Internationalization has been awarded to Bathco for its internationalization strategy, its presence in international markets, the economic impact of its international activities on the company, and the opening of new markets.

During the event, the 2022 Cantabria SME of the Year Award was presented to the company Bound 4 Blue SL, which is dedicated to the development of rigid sails for fishing and merchant ships.

Additionally, honorable mentions were awarded for Innovation and Digitalization, Training and Employment, and Sustainable Business.

The Award for Innovation and Digitalization has gone to INCENTRO EIM SERVICES ESPAÑA SL, a company dedicated to software development. They have been recognized as one of the few companies awarded with the Great Places to Work award in the SME category in Cantabria and have experienced rapid growth in recent years thanks to the high innovation of their services.

The Accésit for Training and Employment has been awarded to INGEMOTIONS 2010 SL, a company dedicated to robotic development and automation for regional industries. The company has been repeatedly awarded this past year due to its different economic and digital positioning. Ingemotions has been recognized for this accésit due to its strong commitment to employee training.

And finally, the Sustainable Company Accésit of Cantabria goes to TALLERES COBO HERMANOS SL. Dedicated to the development of industrial tanks, they have demonstrated a strong commitment to the environment and social responsibility, in addition to a high level of commitment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this new edition, the sixth of this Award, more than 1,766 companies from all productive sectors have participated.
