Bathco's pieces are featured in the rooms of Hotel Sol Boutique

The Hotel Sol Boutique in Santander features Bathco to equip the bathrooms in its personalized rooms.

Following the renovation of one of the most emblematic buildings in the Cantabrian capital, designer Cintia Díaz has created an interior featuring very special pieces: works of art, designer furniture, and pieces created by Bathco Atelier artists specifically for this boutique hotel.

As we delve into the bathrooms of the rooms, we'll see unique, well-maintained, and original spaces. The selection of materials was not accidental. Each piece was carefully chosen by the designer to create environments with meaning, and the advice of Andrés Navedo, head of exhibitions at Lostal, one of Bathco's official distributors in Cantabria, was fundamental in this process.

This way, you can see different Bathco sinks present in many of the bathrooms in the rooms of this four-star hotel.

MURALES CREATED BY ARTISTS

For the Chinoserie room, they chose wallpaper and wanted to extend the design into the bathroom but preferred a water-resistant material. For this reason, they turned to the artists at Bathco Atelier, who reproduced the design on ceramic decals and applied them manually to tiles. These tiles cover the main wall of this en-suite bathroom like a mural.

Room 306, Anastasia, holds another of the murals created by Bathco Atelier artists based on the illustration “Anastasia” by Sofia Bonati, and the main tones were chosen to create the porcelain sink coated in tile microcement, also made in the company's workshop.

DECORATED SINKS WITH DECALS

In room 207, the Dinan sink is decorated with ceramic decals, thanks to the expert hands of artisans from a Cantabrian company. In this case, the designer wanted the medallion of Hermes (Mercury) to be represented. To achieve this, a design was created in digital format, printed onto ceramic decals, and then decorated by aligning the sink's design with that of the valve. This way, visitors will appreciate the complete drawing while using the sink.

HAND-PAINTED SINKS

Starting from a Hisbalit mosaic that was placed on the walls, the Lysa sink was painted in shades of pink. To achieve this, the artists at the Atelier de Bathco carried out different tests until they found the exact color that can be seen in rooms 211 Peony Bouquet and 101 Bohéme.

Porcelain sinks

Several models from Bathco's general catalog can be seen in the guest room bathrooms. The Dinan basin appears in White Horse, Atlantic, and Masai Mara.

In the Frida room, the Plasencia sink and the Venezia sink from Bathco can be seen. The Venezia sink was placed in the room intended for people with reduced mobility.

In the 313 Mirror Mirror bathroom, the Magdalena B porcelain sink can be seen atop the Mood suspended vanity by B&K (Bathco group).

Solid Surface Sink

In Skyline, the yellow Trieste sink made of Solid Surface can be seen standing out against the Black and White achieved with tiles and mosaics.

Stone sink

In the Nordic Nest attic room, where wood is the star, the Río stone sink is installed on a vanity with recessed faucet.

Iron sink

If you're lucky enough to sleep in Emerald, you'll be able to see the Begursa cast iron sink in an environment where greens prevail.
