Hospitality in a historic building

Projects, Hospitality

The iconic Pombo Palace, home to the Royal Regatta Club, began a new chapter as a four-star hotel under the management of Soho Boutique Hotels.

With 64 rooms spread over more than 3,500 m², the project combines heritage restoration and contemporary hospitality in the heart of Santander.

The rooms

The intervention respects the building's protected elements, including the iconic restored towers, which house some of the most unique rooms.

These are duplex rooms where the bathroom and living room are located on the lower floor, while the bedroom occupies the upper part of the tower, which is accessed via a spiral staircase.

In these types of special properties, the bathroom forms part of the guest's spatial narrative. It is not just a functional room, but part of the architectural experience.

The bathrooms

Bathco participated in equipping the establishment's washrooms, providing a Riga model adapted to a high-traffic hospitality environment, where durability and aesthetic integration are key.
