Bet on innovation
Once again, Cevisama 2017 will be the chosen venue for Bathco to present its latest bathroom innovations.
Materials will be the main focus of the stand this year; wood, finishes ranging from gold to silver, including rose gold, Swarovski crystal applications, and even next-generation materials like CemLab or microcement will be on display at the most important ceramic sector trade show, which will take place from February 20th to 24th in Valencia.
Microcement
Bathco is launching a new collection of sinks featuring a coating made of a cementitious base with polymers, fibers, and aggregates, combined with colored pigments, which gives them a unique finish in shades reminiscent of earth and minerals.
Thanks to the unique properties of microcement, very creative results can be achieved. This material is being widely used in interior design due to its versatility, texture, finish, and ability to combine with other materials such as wood, glass, or metal.
The most notable advantage is its water resistance, in addition to its resistance to high temperatures. Aesthetically speaking, the use of microcement is increasing due to its avant-garde design, quality, and long durability and lifespan.
New Stone Series References
The Stone series captures the unpredictable and arbitrary shapes of black and beige natural stone by combining them. The artisanal technique and natural materials make each piece in this new catalog unique. In 2017, Bathco presents a new stone line characterized by the delicacy conveyed by the thickness of the walls in each piece.
Unique pieces
This year, Bathco is focusing on the design of unique pieces with personality that don't need to be described or integrated into any collection. This is the case of the conical steel sink on a wooden pedestal. The wooden support seems to embrace the fixture, resulting in a harmonious, balanced, and attractive ensemble where wood and metal complement each other perfectly. This piece also represents the resurgence of materials, which are making their way into bathroom decor without the need for artifices; they shine on their own.
Awards presentation
Bathco's booth is nominated for the “Interior Design Award for Best Stand”organized by Cevisama and the Official College of Interior Designers of the Valencian Community (CDICV) for the upcoming edition of the International Fair for Ceramics for Architecture.
This competition values the quality of the design, the originality of the stand, and the overall stand and its content developed by Paula Andrés. Therefore, in addition to designing an attractive stand for the visitor, it will offer the opportunity to experience virtual reality.
