Bucolic life
Projects, ResidentialIt's very difficult to choose just one room in this renovated house in Cantabria. A bucolic lifestyle is very present in both the living room and the kitchen, thanks to large windows that offer views of the province's expansive meadows and the typical fog that appears on sunny mornings.
It is in Pontones where this house is located, the interior design of which was handled by the studio. Macarena Barcia and was designed by the architect Pablo García-Landarte.
All rooms maintain a Modern country style that preserves the original elements of the house such as the wooden beams throughout the house and combines them with contemporary pieces that integrate without losing the essence of the place.
The living room is arranged around the window so that the views are the main focus for anyone sitting on the sofa. The same applies in the kitchen where the island-style table doesn't go unnoticed, offering an unobstructed view of the Cantabrian meadows. Between the two rooms is the dining room, which can be accessed through glass and linen enclosures.
