Keep your bathroom like new.

Tips

The bathroom is one of the most important spaces in the house, its use is constant by all family members, guests... and because of this, it is one of the rooms to which the most attention must be paid when cleaning and disinfecting.

As a general rule, it is recommended to clean this space once a week or, even better, twice. Creating a quick and effective routine will help us avoid the laziness that comes with tackling the task. Do you already have your tricks? Today we share ours to achieve some perfect results

  • Level the ground. Pour some bleach into the toilet and all the drains in the room so it can work while you do other tasks.
  • Free up space. Remove toiletries and decorations that hinder cleaning. It's better to remove them all at once than to pick them up one by one as you wipe. Also, take the opportunity to throw away what's not needed, empty the trash, or put towels in the laundry.
  • Seek allies for hard-to-reach areas. The seals on faucets and shower screens often have small gaps that are difficult to reach with a cloth. A toothbrush can be the best ally for removing dirt that accumulates in these spaces. Gently scrubbing with a mixture of baking soda and water will make these areas look like new again.
  • Make the faucets shine. White vinegar diluted with water is the perfect combination to restore faucets to their original shine. Test on a small section first to ensure the finish isn't affected, then gently scrub the rest.
  • Use hot water. Although it may seem like a minor detail, it's better to use warm or hot water to clean all surfaces and scrub the floor, as it dissolves stains better than cold water. Although there is an exception, to dilute bleach, the water must be cold, otherwise, the chlorine evaporates, and it loses its disinfecting properties.
