Renovation in Conde Duque
Projects, ResidentialThe interior designer Rocío Esquilas He is very clear that “each project is a new opportunity to create sensations, experiences, and beautiful things,” and he has reflected this in a renovation and interior design project carried out in a home on Conde Duque street in Madrid. To carry it out, he counted on P76 Construction and the stylist was Pilar Perea.
Upon entering the home, we find an entryway with colorful wallpaper Pepe Peñalver for Cole & Son what makes it “the most fun part of the house”as the interior designer assures. The hall provides access to a guest toilet where we find the Dinan washbasin by Bathco supplied by Discesur about white furniture IKEA, lighting, Laughing my ass off and tiles Natucer.
From there, we move to the open-plan kitchen and living room with a bar for two with chairs. Maisons du Monde. The color chosen for this space was green, which is present in all the furniture.
Next to it, we find the breakfast nook, “simple and full of details.” The table is from Ikea, the artworks Pilar Garcia-Ferrer and the LMA lamp https://www.instagram.com/lma_iluminacion/. This is where Rocío Esquilas elaborates on her passion for decoration. She herself tells us that “I think I inherited it from my mother and my grandmother, who taught me how to combine things, know different types of tableware, and how to set the table depending on the menu... although as my mother says, often setting a beautiful table is about intuition and choosing what inspires you at the moment. The tableware is from Seletti and the floral centers of Los Peñotes.
The goal was to achieve a quiet and enjoyable seating area. This is achieved with a neutral base and plant-based decoration to add color and warmth, along with details that provide color.
Ikea TV stand, rug KP, vase, The ex-votos and coffee table La Redoute.
Above the sofa, we see paintings of Drimdeco, cushions Pepe Peñalver and curtains Natural fabrics for youths.
For the bedrooms, the key was choosing bold colors, with yellow taking center stage. In the master bedroom, we see it in the bed textiles, flanked by wall sconces and topped by a work of Jesus Perea. The bedside tables are from Maison du Monde.
While in the other room the wallpaper is present Eijffinger for Coordinates on the wall where the headboard is located. The cushions, as in the previous one, are made of Alhambra fabrics and Pepe Peñalver.

For the other bathroom, choose “total white” with an IKEA wooden vanity to add warmth. Again, you can see the Dinan circular sink from Bathco.
