The workshop
A space for creation
Bathco Atelier is a unique initiative that links, for the first time, the world of art to the ceramics and bathroom decoration sector. The artists generate ideas, work on new designs, create and experiment with the possibilities offered by the paints and their fusion with other materials: iron particles, sandstone, crystals, etc.In short, it is a collaborative project with eight artists who contribute their personal stamp and their way of living and understanding art in each of the pieces that come out of the kiln of this workshop.
Artistic process
Bathco recovers the facilities of its former ceramic decoration workshop to convert it into what it now calls its Atelier.
It is a space where magic is breathed in every corner: the smell of paint, the heat of the oven, the incessant noise of the brushes working the sinuous shapes of the sinks and the murmur of the artists always working on new ideas.
Each piece that leaves the workshop is produced in Spain. Thanks to the talent, experience and creativity of this group of professionals, the entire artistic process is done in-house.
The new blank canvas is ceramics, in the form of washbasins or wall tiles that recreate dream scenarios for the bathroom. Each of the artists, applying their personal style, gives free rein to creativity to bring your projects to life.
From the birth of the first ideas, the sketching process, the application of the paints, the testing of new materials, the baking and drying process; everything is done in the company's facilities and is impregnated with the essence and genius of each of the artists.
Tailor-made projects
In Bathco's Atelier, ad hoc projects are developed where the artistic intervention goes beyond the washbasin piece to completely flood the spaces through the development of ceramic murals. The architect, interior designer or designer has the possibility of working directly with the artists of the Atelier to produce pieces fully adapted to the conceptual needs of each project.
Ceramic pieces
Although in many of the works carried out in Bathco Atelier the pictorial facet is very present, the sculptural technique also plays an important role as the basis of projects made in porcelain molded by expert hands.
The artists create ceramic pieces for exclusive projects: they research, test, get inspired and start creating by modeling the ceramics until they give life to unique pieces that will be installed in spaces with a very careful interior design.
Once the most suitable material has been chosen, different textures and molding variables are evaluated. It is also important to choose the color so that the pieces are homogeneous and finally, the baking process allows the creation of long-lasting pieces.
