If we had the ability to teleport and appear in any room in any era, we could accurately determine the moment in history we were in simply by looking at the decor.

Beyond dream homes, hotel rooms, and trendy restaurants, interior designers play a very important role on television. The most popular shows and series go to great lengths to create atmospheres that envelop the characters and hook the viewer.

With this perceptive ability, we play around in both cinema and television. The recreation of spaces makes the viewer feel like part of the plot. Meticulously taking care of every creative aspect of the sets, such as colors, photography, costumes, and especially the decorations, is crucial for achieving audience success.

Every color counts and is what characterizes a good set. Both the director and the director of photography are clear on this, and it's the first thing they communicate to the interior designer. A professional who becomes an art director when the settings are prepared before the clapperboard sounds.

Bathco products get dressed up in their finest to appear, once again, on the small screen. They did so in 2014 on Pablo Motos's show, El Hormiguero, and we've already told you that in 2016 they were in the most talked-about house on Spanish television, Gran Hermano 17, and that they continue to be present in the Grand Hermano Vip edition.

The house's central bathroom is characterized by a mix of styles and materials; tiles coexist with wood and wallpaper in a very wide range of colors. Vibrant colors like red or yellow merge with the sobriety and elegance of white from the Solid Surface Barros sinks.

iFamily

In 2017, the series iFamily will premiere, a family comedy revolving around the lives of two siblings, and a past to heal, in a tone where smiles coexist with the emotions provoked by everyday situations.

RTVE's iFamily SeriesRTVE began recording the new comedy in September, produced in collaboration with Programas y TV (Juan Alexander) and written by José Luis Acosta and directed by Rafa Montesinos. Well-known actors such as Antonio Resines and Fernando Cayo will share the stage with the Yin Yang sink, the Ronda toilet and bidet, as well as countertops, faucets, and other accessories from Bathco.

Mercedes Canales, a renowned art director and set decorator in the television landscape, was in charge of creating the spaces for this series. We focus on the bathrooms, which combine pastel tones and different shades of gray with hydraulic tiles.iFamily Series

Filming wrapped up on January 4th, with outdoor scenes shot in the Community of Madrid and over 2,000 square meters built for the occasion, recreating the main family's usual haunts. It will soon premiere as one of the most recommended series of the season, so stay tuned.
