In Santander, just five minutes from the Sardinero beach, is this duplex apartment, located in a newly built building. With large windows that flood the interior with light, this home is the result of the fusion between design and architecture, offering a unique experience.

The owners were looking for a balance between functionality and modern aesthetics. Upon entering the house, a carefully designed foyer welcomes us with an imposing solid oak wood lattice and a large recessed mirror that creates a powerful visual impact from the very first moment.

Visual connection in the day area

The day space is organized with a subtle separation between the dining room and the kitchen, achieved through a large horizontal window and a floor-to-ceiling glass door. This solution reproduces in the interior the image of the large windows of the building, allowing a fluid vision between the two spaces. The kitchen, far from being a secondary area, becomes a social meeting point, integrating a dining room with custom-made furniture.

A haven of calm in the night zone

A minimalist hallway leads to the sleeping area. The master bedroom has been conceived as a retreat. Clean lines, deep tones and textures play a key role in the sensory experience.

In the en-suite bathroom, the impressive large-format ceramic tiles imitating marble are enhanced by the zenithal light from a pit hidden in the ceiling. The protagonist of the space is the washbasin model Carnac by Bathco, with natural porcelain finish, combined with neutral colors and natural materials, conveys serenity and order.

A connection with the outside world

As a culmination, a central staircase leads to the upper floor, where there is a living area connected to a spectacular terrace of over 150m2. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city and the sea in the background, consolidating this home as a true haven of design and well-being.
