A home inspired by a wild beach

Projects, Residential

Patricia Bustos He's done it again, his «Ocean House» is a unique and different home, inspired by the sea and nature. Despite being located in a development near Madrid, once you enter the house full of curves and elements, you feel like you're on a wild beach.

Natural materials like beach sand mixes, marble, wood, and artisan pottery help create a sense of joy and vitality.

The objective was to create a house designed to be open and engaging to promote communication and interaction among its inhabitants.

The design of «Casa Ola» is influenced by great architects such as Sáenz de Oiza, Antti Lovag, and Gaudí. The house's entrance imitates a wave, with polycarbonate walls and a ceiling illuminated with RGB LED lights. The living room is spacious and bright, with large windows offering a view of a palm tree field with iridescent lights that change color depending on the time of day. The walls and finishes are made of beach sand microcement.

The kitchen and other architectural elements are covered with artisanal ceramic tiles, and the entire space is connected, yet can be divided by delicate lattice screens.

Patricia's bathroom has been included two Basins Dinan that offer more personal space, more comfort, and practicality.

In general, «Casa Ola» is a sinuous and feminine space that respects the organic forms of nature and fosters harmony between architecture and furnishings. As a result, it achieves a home that invites trust, privacy, and harmony with its surrounding environment.
