A home rethought to be filled with light
Projects, ResidentialThe Majo Flores Studio faced the challenge of renovating and redistributing a 280m2 apartment in Valencia, where the hallway removal and the relocation of the kitchen allowed for much brighter spaces.

They designed an entryway, kitchen, living room, and dining room in an open, airy space, separating the areas with glass enclosures with oak wood moldings, which are complemented by the natural wood flooring that covers the entire house. In this way, it is achieved take advantage of natural light that enters through the large windows into the four rooms, which would otherwise lack natural light.

It highlights that as a guiding principle for the four rooms, a English patio where a preserved eucalyptus bush has been placed to connect these spaces.

Continuing along the floor, a courtesy cleaning with a theatrical effect, using indirect lighting and covering the walls with black Marquina porcelain and wallpaper. To complete the scene, the Begursa cast iron sink by Bathco, which achieves the desired effect.

In the most remote and intimate area of the house, you'll find the master bedroom, where the concept of open spaces is maintained by incorporating an en-suite bathroom within the bedroom. This bathroom combines three types of finishes: oak wood in rounded slat form, natural stone, and mirror in the sink area. The vanity, designed by the studio, features Two beige stone Fiji sinks from Bathco, which combine perfectly.
