A home that flows between sustainability and design
Projects, ResidentialLocated in a medieval square in the province of Burgos, this home Passivhaus designed by Dospasos Studio is a perfect example of how architecture can respect the environment while adapting to the needs of its inhabitants. This project focuses on sustainability, reclamation of historic areas and practical design, all in a home created to be lived in.

A fluid design
The house, located on a narrow lot, has a central void around which all the rooms orbit, generating a large atrium that acts as the heart of the project. This design allows for a fluid interior layout, eliminating unnecessary compartmentalization. In the main room, the bedroom and bathroom are unified in the same space, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort.

In the bathroom of the master suite, the washbasins have been incorporated Catania. These sinks are not only functional, but also add a touch of sophistication to the space, complementing the sober material palette that includes wood, metal and concrete. The choice of washbasins Catania underlines the commitment of design to aesthetics and practicality.
Integration with the environment
The house has been adapted to urban planning regulations to preserve the appearance of the urban space, using traditional materials such as tile and stone, and maintaining a façade composition that respects the history of the site. The windows have been designed to recall the architectural elements of the buildings that once existed on the site.

The central atrium, illuminated by a large skylight, allows natural light to flood all the living spaces, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The metallic stairs, which seem to float, connect the different levels and facilitate circulation, all in an upward movement that adds dynamism to the design.

With this project, Dospasos Studio has achieved a perfect symbiosis between contemporary design, sustainability and respect for history, making this house an outstanding example of modern architecture that looks to the future without forgetting its past.
