Projects, Hospitality

Urban nests proposes to the visitors of the city of Santander “a perfect environment so that your stay becomes a delight and nothing will leave you indifferent.”. It is an apartment “exquisitely decorated, with a unique design and thought only for your comfort.”.

The person in charge of creating this space to surprise has been the Aedificare studio and has managed to give this apartment located in one of the oldest areas of the city an “modern decoration, is very cozy and perfectly equipped with all the amenities”.

The apartment is located on Alta street, where the fishermen's quarter used to be, before the city gained ground to the sea. Specifically, it is located in the oldest inhabited building in the Cantabrian capital.

The Silda apartment is located on a first floor with independent access from the public road eliminating all kinds of barriers and obstacles. In this way, it gives direct access to the main tourist attractions of the city: the City Hall is only 350 meters away and the Pereda Gardens at 850 meters. As well as the Botín Center or the Paseo Marítimo.

The accommodation has 45 open-plan useful meters and is distributed in two distinct areas: a living-dining room-kitchen and a bedroom-dressing room-bathroom.

Living room, dining room and kitchen

Next to the sofa facing the fireplace and the dining table we find “a kitchen that does not look like a kitchen... completely integrated into the space and multiplying the light of this small apartment”. The upper part is covered with mirrors so that the reflections of the lamps generate more clarity.

Bedroom, dressing room and bathroom

Behind a metal and glass lattice is the bedroom. Luana García, interior designer in charge of the project, emphasizes that “We respected the original stone walls and worked a lot on the light and textures in the new finishes”.

This space gives access to the bathroom-dressing room. Here we find Bathco's Madrid washbasin and Dots mosaics on the floor. The interior designer comments that “We make no secret of our passion for @hisbalit”We couldn't be happier with the result”.
