Begonia's Garden
Projects, ContractThe Aprocor Foundation Begonia's Garden opens, a nursery converted into a space for plant recovery and sale, and for hosting workshops and events for businesses and residents of Las Tablas.

This project has been made possible by Casa Decor, which has hosted Fundación Aprocor in past editions of 2020 and 2021 as its Official Solidarity Organization, to raise awareness of the Foundation's work, and thus promote the socio-labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities and community development.
From the outset, Casa Decor encouraged participating companies from both editions to collaborate in a spirit of solidarity, by donating materials and products, or by contributing valuable ideas for the creation of this space to which the company specialized in the bathroom sector has joined., Bathco. Cristina Avendaño, project coordinator, has selflessly served as the liaison between Aprocor and Casa Decor.
El Begonia's Garden is part of Aprocor Foundation's strategy to transform support centers for people with disabilities into spaces open to the public, fostering inclusion and opportunities. Through cooperation with the social environment, valued social roles are promoted for people with intellectual disabilities, contributing to environmental awareness, conservation, and protection.
Inclusion happens and is real when people participate, work, and enjoy life alongside other people with similar interests and with complementary knowledge and skills. That's why Begonia’s Garden is “Open to the public.” The goal is for it to be a place where anyone can feel welcome and invited because in an inclusive societal model, we all have something to contribute.
Interior space
This space is where courses, workshops, photo shoots, and presentations will be held for both companies and the general public. Currently, it is a plant nursery for sale to the public, where people with disabilities work.

This area has been adapted into a comfortable and very cozy workspace where you can find Two Toulouse sinks, hand-decorated with the «Travertino» ceramic decal.
