Kalasin Forest, a walk in the forest

It seems like a dream to be able to walk through a bamboo forest in the heart of Madrid, but this year at Casa Decor, a natural space has been created where bamboo and water invite you to disconnect. «Bosque Kalasin» is Bathco's proposal for Casa Decor 2025, conceived by Andreina Raventós. This space takes visitors away from reality, immersing them in an enveloping bamboo forest.

This forest takes two fundamental elements as its reference: bamboo and water. Andreina Raventós has created an enveloping atmosphere where the Bathco Kalasin bamboo pedestal sink is the protagonist, transporting visitors to a sensory fantasy where an imaginary forest comes to life. bamboo It is the central axis of the proposal. Sustainable by nature, bamboo is one of the most renewable resources on the planet, capable of growing without the need for replanting. These properties of bamboo are reflected in the design of the sink and in the entire atmosphere of the space, creating a direct connection with nature.

One of the key elements of the design is the mural hand-painted by the artists of the Bathco Atelier, which is born from the ground like a river, evoking the natural habitat of bamboo. As it ascends the wall, the design simulates the movement of water, eventually transforming into marine forms, taking visitors away from reality and immersing them in an enveloping natural environment.

The space revolves around the Pedestal sink Kalasin, which gives its name to the forest where it is located. This sink is made of bamboo, A material that grows at a surprising speed and regenerates without the need for chemicals.Bathco reaffirms its commitment to sustainability through bamboo, the star of the brand's new products, presenting it as an ideal material for those seeking design and sustainability in every corner of their home.

A sink Bathco's Traquita Collection stained glass bathtub It is part of «Room 28,» a room in a boutique hotel created by Mausha Marsá. It is a piece hand-painted by the Atelier's artists using ceramic pigments that reproduce the texture and nuances of trachyte stone with great realism.
