Single-family dwelling, Francette's bathroom
AtelierWe are in a home with a distinctly contemporary style in the Burgundy region near Dijon. It stands out for its architecture of straight, simple lines with spacious, luminous areas, unpretentious and endowed with great functional character where a lot is said with little.
Its owner, Francette, aware of the importance of details in this project, as the soul of lived experiences lies in them, turned to the Atelier to develop the ceramic elements for the home and achieve totally original pieces that would imbue the project with the personal character it deserved. The interior designer found inspiration for this project in Francette's indelible memories of her trip to Japan. He also added small personal touches, using certain elements that convey the tastes and stories of the people who live there, without losing that practical, pure, and discreet trait.
To reflect all these ideas, the artist created color ink maps in the sinks, connecting watercolor and water, while the mural is characterized by the absence of color and the movement conveyed through strokes that recall the intertwining of wicker. This brings the most traditional facet in contrast to the modernity of the environment.
