From two stories to one
Projects, ResidentialIn the heart of Madrid, on one of its most prestigious streets, the Claudio Coello Project emerges, a fusion of classic elegance and timeless modernity within an emblematic building. The visionary owner acquired two apartments and posed a crucial question: should they remain as two independent units or be transformed into a single, exclusive residence?

The decision leans towards singularity. The idea of merging the two floors challenges tradition, and the challenge is enthusiastically accepted by the interior design studio Docrys & DC. The key lies in avoiding the feeling of a maze of corridors, a task that requires careful planning.
The daylit zone unfolds in the front, with large windows that capture light from the main street. The living room, dining room, and kitchen intertwine in a harmonious flow. High ceilings, restored and new moldings combine to achieve an aesthetic that embraces both the classic and the modern.

Intimacy finds its home in the rear zone, away from the street's hustle and bustle. Five spacious suites, each with its own bathroom and walk-in closet, along with a family room and laundry room, make up this private sanctuary. The family room and study area, key elements, act as the heart of the home, sinuously connecting public and private areas.

The bathrooms in this project incorporate the Novales models, Fiji, River and Meeting. The careful selection of these sinks not only reflects a commitment to quality but also adds a touch of distinction to each space.

The design breathes thanks to the careful selection of materials. The nobility of wood intertwines with large-format porcelain tiles, achieving a fusion of the classic and the industrialized. Moldings on ceilings and walls add a classic dimension, while minimalist décor maintains elegance without excess.

In summary, the Claudio Coello Project stands as a testament to design mastery. The fusion of styles, attention to light, and strategic spatial arrangement not only redefine living but also elevate it to a stately status, preserving its identity with a contemporary touch. A renovation that goes beyond walls, creating a home that breathes history and modernity in every corner.
