‘Infinite fluttering’, fluttering and shimmering, reflecting the owner's personality

This project presented a challenge for Studio San Fernando due to its size and because, after meeting the owner, they wanted to imbue every corner of the house with a bit of her personality: free-spirited, dreamy, and romantic.

Carmen González, creative director of Studio SanFernando, comments that this project especially excited them. It was about decorating a small restroom and giving it life. Since it belonged to one of the leisure areas of the house, they thought it would be very visited.

It was a challenge for them due to the size and because after meeting their owner, they wanted to imbue every corner of the house with a bit of her personality: free, dreamy, and romantic. That's why Studio SanFernando collaborated with Bathco Atelier to make their dreams a reality.

In this project, the artists at Atelier have gone a step further. They have decorated a porcelain sink with ceramic decals depicting a hummingbird in different positions, interspersed with the names of different varieties of this bird. Furthermore, Swarovski inlays were made to give the piece a touch of sparkle.

The feeling of turning on the tap and the water flowing over the shine of the Swarovski crystals in the Toulouse sink, tattooed with birds, along with the rest of the pieces and materials that coexist in this restroom, makes it a very special space.
