Salone 2016
The Salone del Mobile.Milano It is today, the biggest showcase of trends in the interior design and furniture decoration sector. It is a must-attend event for professionals in this sector and design lovers who come to Milan in search of new products that manufacturers present for the first time at this fair.
The 2016 edition, held from April 12-17, has been notable for the emergence of new talent. At the same time, it has served to consolidate companies' positions and strategies. 55th anniversary from this quote, a very hopeful future has been noted for a growing industry.
Each year, bathrooms gain more prominence at this fair. Furthermore, this space has undergone a greater revolution compared to other rooms in the house; it has transformed from a service area into a wellness space where factors such as technology, new materials, design, and so on have been taken into account.
Avant-garde design from Regia
Bathco wanted to be present at Isaloni with its distributor in Italy, Regia a company based in Muggiò, in the province of Monza and Brianza, founded in 1988 by Nicoletta Fontana, president of Assobagno for two terms, as well as a defender and promoter of the International Bathroom Exhibition.
Sinks with original shapes, transparent and colored bathtubs, etc.; Regia's bathroom represents color and fun in the bathroom furniture scene. A prime example is the Spritz model, a new freestanding sink developed in transparent “vetroghiaccio” (ice glass). The shape and the mix of materials make it look like a glass half-full of cocktail. It is a very original piece, ideal for pubs and nightclubs, which will become an iconic accessory.
Thanks to the work carried out by the Italian company, during the fair it was awarded the prize “Brand selected by Archiproducts as a model of excellence in design, quality, and innovation.”.
Bathco's workshop shines at the fair
Bathco Atelier It took center stage at the fair. A mural painted by artists from the Cantabrian company on tiles was the best reflection of the infinite customization possibilities offered by this workshop launched by Bathco. Eight multidisciplinary artists paint “ad hoc” projects for the bathroom directly on the ceramic, which represents an unprecedented resource for interior designers and industry professionals.
