Magdalena Live Festival 2024
AtelierBathco was present at the fourth edition of the «Magdalena en Vivo» festival, a 5-day music event held in the Campa de La Magdalena during Santander's Semana Grande.
Manuel Turizo, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Andy & Lucas, Cali & El Dandee, Beret, Álvaro de Luna, and Sofía Ellar were some of the headliners at the Magdalena en Vivo festival. The festival celebrated its fourth edition in the capital of Cantabria between July 23rd and 27th, 2024, coinciding with the Semana Grande de Santander festivities. Bathco equipped the VIP area restrooms at this festival with a mural accompanied by two painted sinks decorated with a luminous effect.
The festival poster served as inspiration for this work, where different recognized buildings of the city of Santander are represented. Ceramic decals were used for the sinks, and each representative building was hand-painted for the mural. Subsequently, a photoluminescent pigment was applied. This pigment, when illuminated with ultraviolet light, creates a very surprising luminescent effect for the viewer.
