Marine art, the seabed as a canvas
AtelierThe bathroom sector and contemporary art come together at the benchmark fair in northern Spain.
Bathco was present at Arte Santander 2016 through the works of Bathco Atelier. We were responsible for setting the scene and designing the exhibition's VIP area, which served as a gathering and meeting point for gallery owners, artists, and visitors. The centerpiece of this space, designed by Bathco, was a large ceramic mural developed by the artist Emeric Minaya.
The foam that the waves splash. The movement of the water. The fauna found on the seabed. The intense blue. There are many points of inspiration for Emeric Minaya to create this mural, which was part of a fair located next to the Sardinero beaches in Santander. The improvised brushstroke meets ceramic figures that come out of molds hand-carved by artists in our workshop.
