Spa in Florence, the beauty of the classic
AtelierOld engravings and etchings have served as inspiration for this project. The beauty of classicism never ceases to dazzle us.
One of the rooms of this SPA in the heart of Florence is inspired by the private balmes of the Roman villas of antiquity. With no furniture or other elements to obstruct the discourse, the space has a clear functionality within a classic and simple aesthetic.
The mural designed for this space advocates a renewed classicism. The artist represents a face alluding to the old engravings. The drawing based on lines simulating etching incisions, floods the simple and relaxing atmosphere with classicism and academicism. The technique used in the creation of this piece is the traditional ceramic painting; a single color and ox hair brushes have been the only tools used by the artist.
