Bathco's stand receives a great reception at CEVISAMA

This success carries over to Bathco, the only Cantabrian company exhibiting at the fair, as it has been visited by more than 500 national and international companies from 72 countries.

Bathco, true to its continuous commitment to design and the innovation, The stand surprised with a space inspired by the sensations evoked by the forms and materials of its main collections. The stand presented two different atmospheres: on one hand, there was a zone that integrated all the new porcelain and bathroom accessories, leaving a second space to give full prominence to its most prized collection, NATURAL SERIES BY BATHCO.

Likewise, an audiovisual area was reserved at the stand for visitors to interact with the products in the collection. Natural Series, a setting that served to present the promotional video for this SHAPING PLEASURES brand.

The increase in visitors—up 20% from the previous year, according to preliminary data released by Cevisama—and the interest generated by the various offerings presented by Bathco at its booth made the four days of the trade show an intense and productive work experience. To make the experience more enjoyable for customers and visitors, Bathco offered a tasting menu of rice dishes accompanied by a buffet.

“The pieces that make up the Natural Series by Bathco collection have generated the most interest among visitors to our stand,” according to Bathco's manager, José López, “with the cement sinks, integrated within the CEMENT & TERRAZZO SERIES, and the shapes achieved in the SOLID SURFACE series sinks.”

“But what has surprised us the most,” in the words of the manager of the Cantabrian firm, “is the impact our latest venture, the Vintage Collection, has had. Companies from all sectors have shown interest in this collection of decorated washbasins.” It is a new collection of decorated porcelain washbasins inspired by antique floral ornamentation, creating unique and evocative designs.

Success in numbers

More than 500 companies showed interest in the latest innovations in design and materials presented by Bathco at its booth, and business relationships were established with many of them. 80% of these companies were international firms, notably from North Africa, the Middle East, and Arab countries.

“Our visitors have mainly been foreign companies. We’ve noticed a significant increase in international visitors; countries such as Lebanon, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Morocco account for 40 % of our international visitors,” says José López.

International projection

Bathco, currently present in over 70 countries, relies on trade fairs as an ideal means for business growth. Therefore, its participation in major international fairs for 2014 is confirmed, including Mosbuild (Moscow), Coverings (Las Vegas), Cersaie (Bologna), and The Big 5 (Dubai).
