Bathco Atelier artist, María Centeno, receives a Special Jury Mention for her work "Tan lejos, tan cerca II."
From September 1st to December 31st, 2021, the works selected for the 4th International Mini Print Cantabria, The Sea and the Lighthouses, can be visited at the Faro Cabo Mayor Art Center in Santander.

Maria Centeno She has received a Special Jury Mention for her work “Tan lejos, tan cerca II” (intervened electrography on tracing paper) at the fifth edition of the Mini Print International Cantabria awards. This work and two others by the artist will be on display at the exhibition and are also included in the exhibition catalog. The works will become part of the private collection of the Port Authority of Santander.
In the previous edition of the competition, the artist's work “Light in the Abyss I,” which is part of this collection, was selected to participate in the international exhibition “The Sea and the Lighthouses in Bordeaux” at the Cervantes Institute in Bordeaux (France) on the occasion of the International Print Fair.
A total of 686 works from 42 countries participated in this edition, of which the jury awarded 12.
Mini International Print Cantabria
Mini Print Internacional Cantabria is a proposal by SM Pro Art Circle, an organization run by Andrea Juan and Gabriel Penedo Diego, which aims to award all disciplines of printmaking, also admitting digitally printed works and monotypes. Given the directors“ passion for graphic arts, their desire is to ”bring contemporary artists from all over the world together in an exhibition in our land, and to give our people the opportunity to enjoy it.".
