This event, taking place on November 24th and 25th, will bring together experts and officials in the management of European Commission community funds, members of the General State Administration, and representatives from the different autonomous communities to discuss the results and future of European Union regional policies in Spain.

The main objective of the Cemlab project, driven by Bathco and developed in collaboration with the CTC (Cantabrian Technology Center for Components), was to find an innovative material that would improve cement's performance in terms of lightness, impermeability, and finishes.

After a year and a half of research, the company succeeded in developing a new material that is 40 % lighter than the original and improves its water resistance by 80 %. According to José López Cortés, president of the Cantabrian company specializing in bathroom fixtures, “the first sinks made with this new material will be unveiled at the upcoming industry trade show, CEVISAMA 2017.”

Also, in this “ANNUAL EVENT REGIONAL POLICY AND EUROPEAN FUNDS IN SPAIN,” organized by the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration to showcase the best projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in Spain, three awards will be presented to the most voted proposals.
