Bathco draws inspiration from the roughest construction materials and polishes them into delicate hand-painted pieces. The brushstrokes of Bathco Atelier artists simulate earth, wood, corten steel, terrazzo, and pigment from an artistic point of view.

We present five new pieces joining the Atelier collection.
It is not immune to our every step; it is food and sustenance, and upon it rests all our work. A witness to humanity and the stage for history. It holds within itself an absolute richness that makes us proud and feeds our culture.
The veins make it genuine and the tone of each of its rings makes it unique. No two pieces of wood can be found in nature that are identical, just as in the work done at Bathco Atelier where brushstrokes give birth to something unique.
Weathering steel is a type of steel made with a chemical composition that gives its oxidation unique characteristics. The artists at the Atelier have imitated its roughness and hues so that it endures over time just like the original.
It's a grayscale and earthy recreation where the artist employs the ceramic tracing technique to simulate the material. This medium serves to combine all the advantages of real terrazzo into a much more versatile piece, given its lightness and resistance, which eliminates the need to polish the surface.
The artist's hand transforms the white porcelain skin into a surface rich in subtle nuances. The small specks in earthy tones that form this marbling remind us of nature and the infinite, constant speckled and stained patterns that can be seen in stones.
