- What does it mean to have design, quality, and innovation as fundamental principles?
-The purpose of continuous improvement and the relentless pursuit of new opportunities have led Bathco to explore new fields, establishing completely innovative projects in the bathroom sector. The research of new materials incorporated into the Natural Series line, the linking of the world of culture and art by creating the Bathco Atelier, or the commitment to reproducing the first and second-class bathrooms of the Titanic allow the company to position itself nationally and internationally.
-How are the principles of technological development applied in your daily work?
Bathco has spent 35 years researching materials and techniques to offer the best products to its clients. Day by day, the company works to provide resistant materials with features such as water resistance, lightness, and a natural finish. In addition to this, in collaboration with the Cantabria Technology Centre for Components (CTC), Bathco began a research and development project for new materials in 2013, the results of which can already be seen in some products.
Is it possible to strive for exclusivity and competitiveness in a small region like Cantabria?
Of course, in our years of experience, our intuition and know-how have led us to cross borders, and today, looking back, we are proud to be present on five continents. Perhaps the secret has been to incorporate the latest technological advances into our work without forgetting our roots. Maybe the key has been to know how to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the global market and to combine our daily work with a passion for a job well done... In any case, today more than ever, our sights are set on the future; a future full of opportunities in which we wish to continue growing thanks to the knowledge acquired, which increases day by day.
