Designing a home filled with adventures and travel

In the world of interior design, each project represents an opportunity to blend creativity with the needs and personality of the homeowners. The recent work of Patricia Lizalde’s interior design studio in a new property in Zaragoza exemplifies this synergy perfectly. The house, a blank canvas, became a palette to bring to life a space that reflects the owners’ passion for adventure and travel, particularly to exotic destinations like Africa and the Middle East.

The living room, which merges with the dining area and kitchen in an open concept, was designed with a neutral color palette and meticulous attention to comfort. The addition of a glass and oak wood enclosure completely transformed the area, allowing light to flow from the living room to the kitchen and dining area. This addition not only improved the lighting but also maintained seamless communication between the different areas of the daytime zone.

In the master bedroom, the aim was to create an atmosphere that transported the owners to a mysterious forest with a light mist. This effect was achieved through a wall wallpaper that set the perfect scene for a space in white, green, and gray tones, all harmoniously blended.

The dressing room became the focal point of the bedroom. A partition that previously separated the bedroom from an additional space was removed, gaining both space and style. The wood and glass enclosure allowed light to flow while defining distinct areas.

In the bathroom, the shower was replaced with a freestanding bathtub, and the fixtures, tiles, and flooring were updated. The new design is characterized by brown, dark, and black tones that infuse personality into the space. The Carnac sinks, in an elegant cream color, become the focal point of light and style.

This bathroom is now a haven of relaxation and luxury that invites showing it off. The irregular shapes of the bathtub and sinks, along with the natural tones, infuse vitality and dynamism into an environment that breaks with traditional decorative sobriety.

In summary, Patricia Lizalde’s interior design project in Zaragoza is a brilliant testament to how design can capture the essence of homeowners and their passions, transforming a house into a home filled with adventure and elegance.
