Bathco boost the bathroom sector at The Big 5 Show in Dubai

The Event Director of The Big 5, Josine Heijmans, said “we saw an increase in exhibitors, taking it over the 3,000 mark for the first time” and “it has been a strong show with great exhibitors, fantastic sponsors and our biggest ever educational programme”. 

Record breaker for the exhibitors in The Big 5 Dubai 2015. The Event Director of The Big 5, Josine Heijmans, said “we saw an increase in exhibitors, taking it over the 3,000 mark for the first time” and “it has been a strong show with great exhibitors, fantastic sponsors and our biggest ever educational programme”.

 

“The Big 5 is the strongest construction and build show brand for Africa, the Middle East and Asia and this show is the jewel in the crown of The Big 5 series show, which includes Indonesia, East Africa, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and India” said Heijmans. Thanks to that interaction, the agreements have been managed to materialize thus contributing to the world economy and a considerably exceeding expectations.

 

With the fifth largest pavilion at this year´s The Big 5, Spain continues to strengthen its ties with the UAE through greater collaboration and bigger business. This year, this show has welcomed 62 exhibitors from Spain making it one of the largest pavilions with 1.202,5 square metres of space.

 

In May, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy of the UAE ans Spain´s Secretary of State for Trade, Jaime Garcia-Legaz Ponce met to discuss ways of increasing trade between their two countries in the areas of small and medium-sized enterprises.

 

During the meeting, Al Mansouri said that trade between the UAE and Spain grew by 90 per cent between 2009-2014. As we could see in this show the increase will be very promising in the coming years.

 

Visits to Bathco stand not stop throughout the show. Visitors from Asia amounting to 89.6%. Given the situation of the fair, the presence of UAE was very relevant, followed by Saudi Arabia and Iran. We also had 5% of visitors from Africa who came from Egypt, Ghana and Mozambique. On the European continent, include the presence of visitors from Turkey and Czech Republic.

BATHCO ATELIER

Under the watchful eye of cameras and broadcast live, Bathco Atelier washbasins caused great excitement. During the four days of the fair activity, two artists of the art center interventions performed for the audience to see the handmade elaboration of each piece and the customization possibilities that allows this new bathroom concept.

 

GOLD&SILVER

Not lost the Gold & Silver collection presented for the first time. Gold plated sinks and both plain and textured. This style comes beating down yet unobtrusive decoration in combination with other styles to create eclectic environments. This was transmitted visitors who came to see these pieces.

 

LAVABOS BICOLOR

And as we like to surprise constantly, another highlight was the presentation of the collection of bicolor washbasins. As striking inside and out and maintaining a relationship with colors that awaken us different sensations.
